Anbaazhi aims to ensure empowerment for the underprivileged and tribal communities. We strive to aid them in livelihood, education/e-learning, career guidance and disaster relief thereby providing holistic support to enhance their standard of living.

e-Learning
Owing to the unwelcoming pandemic,many children especially the kids of tribal,remote areas are put in a danger of being not exposed to education as the lock-down extends ,to keep them in touch with education despite the atmosphere difficult for a online class setup,we shared them the basic set mobiles per area and allotted slots on every weekend to get on-call teaching through our volunteers. Thereby we covered around 60+ kids from 6+ tribal areas
BedSheetForNeedy
The campaign was organised to provide bedsheets during winter season. We reached out to people who live on the outskirts of Chennai, Chengalpattu and Kanchipuram districts, especially who live near railway stations and roadside platforms

5 Mins for Society
In this initiative a short 5minutes video was prepared to share knowledge about topics like Art, Science, and Storytelling, targeting the Rural audience. The video was prepared by volunteers and posted in official social platforms of Anbaazhi.
Food4Needy
Focus to meet the food needs of people of different category during the pandemic & cyclone times of 2020 & 2021 by supplying them with groceries as well as prepared food . By this, we were able to satisfy the hunger needs of people belongs to kayar triabl group, transgender community, covid 19migrants & Nivar cyclone affected.


Rain is same everywhere,but not its Impacts. During the continuous rainy days & post effects of Nivar cyclone, Anbaazhi step forwarded to cover the leakage of huts & built tarpaulin huts for remote tribal areas around Chennai through tarpaulins/banners collected from volunteers through various collecting point of Chennai.
Team Anbaazhi inspected the Nallur village of Chengalpattu district where the huts are heavily damaged owing to yearly exposure of rain & sun & raise fund and brought the supplements for the hut rebuilt.

Manansa Orphanage visit

Anbaazhi volunteers visited Manasa Orphanage and created a memorable day for the specially-abled kids by engaging them with games, learning and fun. We also supported the orphanage by providing food supplies, groceries and hygiene kits.
We at Anbaazhi strived our best to support the migrants during the COVID-19 pandemic by creating awareness about them through posters and videos. Our donors and volunteers supported us to raise the necessary funds to provide Food and Groceries for migrants near Thiruporur district, Kunnavakkam and Therukupattu areas at Chengalpattu

Wishing Tree Event
“Wishing Tree Event” was organized in collaboration with Club Sankalp from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad. The event aims to distribute Hygiene kits and Food supplies for the Visually Challenged community on Christmas eve, who earlier worked in local electric trains in Chennai. They have lost their source of income since the trains were shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Wheelchair Provision

Anbaazhi volunteers raised funds with the support of our donors to provide new wheelchairs for physically challenged people.

Food4Needy – Transgender & Alathur Rescue Camp

In the second phase of this campaign, 47 transgender families in the Trichy district. We provided a two-day Food supplies support for the Alathur Rescue camp, where food packets were distributed to people in Boodheri, Yembedu, Kayar, and Erikarai districts who were affected by heavy rains in November 2021.
